Found Panzer's link and followed up.  I live northeast of Indy.  Retired from the military.  Have owned seven Kicks and Trackers since '94 but have never owned a Sammy... yet.  Keep thinking about one though.  Married to my better half for over three decades.  The longer I am around her the more I appreciate her.  I think she's a keeper.  Enjoy the Zuk forums but my truck isn't capable of running much more than  trails.  Needs a couple more skids and shorter gears.  Pretty much a stocker but I enjoy driving it, like all the Kick/Tracker trucklets I have owned in the past.  I'm sold on these trucks... probably addicted would be a better term.   Thanks MY for the donations supporting the web site.  You don't have to provide all the support to organizations and individuals... but you do and that makes you and ZOR stand out in the crowd of aftermarket providers.

Thank you much panzer, but I confess I served because I loved doing it, like a whole bunch of others.   I appreciate everyone out there doing what they do for a living as well.  If it is honest labor, you are living the American dream also.  Sammy87, I live in the burg of Middletown, about twenty miles NE of Lawrence.

Welcome to the site and My primary MOS was 19D also. I kinda got kidnapped into the Infantry side of it after training so I never got to do the Scout thing.  They taught me how to jump out of planes and other fun stuff so I cant complain to much.

Thanks to yooze and good to be on board this forum.  I spent alot of years in a couple different "versions" (MTOEs) of Cavalry units.   All of them had tanks, mortars, recon elements.  One had attack aviation assets and for a while we had a long range recon troop as well.  Was assigned in each of the units at one time except for the LRS. In later years I spent 8 years in straight leg infantry battalions.   The largest difference between the missions of the two organizations is simply Recon is stealth and reporting first and foremost and fight only if you have to or are specifically missioned to where as in Infantry your gig is to grab them by the balls and make them scream.  Course the blurred missions over seas now have everyone pretty much performing set mission tasks.   Enjoyed it all and the commeraderie was top notch.  Age caught up with me and I couldn't run with my pups anymore which I enjoyed, so I moved on.  You can fight with each other but you can't fight aging.  Great memories are still there though.   I'd highly recommend it for anyone that just doesn't know what they want to do in life.  I don't think the danger is much greater than driving to the store or walking along a road.  The difference is you are cognizant of your surroundings, the danger and what others are doing.  Thanks for your time in boots as well.

Welcome to the site! Always great to meet new members and others who have/are served/serving. I am 31B MP in the Reserves. Pvt E2 for now. Got out of basic/AIT on Dec.18. Been in for a lil over a year. Company is deployed now but me and about 20 others had to stay behind.  But I've had 1 tracker and 1 'kick along with 3 samurais. I know kinda what you mean about addicted.  yes   They can be built up so many ways to make them unique.
